Please see the R FAQ for general information about R and the R Windows FAQ for Windows-specific information. Patches to this release are incorporated in the r-patched snapshot build. What are R and CRAN? R is ‘GNU S’, a freely available language and environment for statistical computing and graphics which provides a wide variety of statistical and graphical techniques: linear and nonlinear modelling, statistical tests, time series analysis, classification, clustering, etc. Azure Machine Learning Studio (classic) supports both R and Python. Customers currently using or evaluating Azure Machine Learning Studio (classic) are encouraged to try the designer in Azure Machine Learning, which provides drag-n-drop ML modules plus scalability, version control, and enterprise security. RStudio offers 6 videos called the RStudio Essentials Series that help you learn how to program and manage R projects using RStudio’s tools including the RStudio Integrated Development Environment (IDE). These videos will also help you learn good development practices that make collaboration within a team safe and easy.
